INTELLEGO3 Launches at DSEI

K3 Enterprises on behalf of INTELLEGO demonstrates new biometric tool for rapid identification September 11, 2013 (London, UK) Intellego as part of a joint venture between APX-Labs and K3 Enterprises, today announces the launch of its new biometric verification device for law enforcement and first responders at the DSEI Exhibition in London. INTELLEGO3 is a smartphone-sized, handheld device designed to provide mobile biometric data verification to aid the user in identifying unknown persons of interest (POIs). The device collects a face print, fingerprint, voice print, or reads the barcode from an ID card and wirelessly transmits the information via virtual private network (VPN) to a remote matcher and database for comparison. When the information receives a “hit,” the relevant information is returned to the Intellego3 device, allowing the operator to make an informed decision. “Our new device simplifies verification of the person in front of you, rapidly and accurately” notes Dr Brian Kent, CEO of K3 Enterprises. “The reduction in user error when INTELLEGO3 is operated provides a significant cost saving in the overall ID process, and enhances personal safety.” Demonstrations of this new device are available on the North Carolina stand at DSEI, N7-384, located in the Security and Special Forces Zone.
